Since 2017, we have collaborated with community leaders to design a wide range of enrichment programs to unleash our community's potential. Our outreach initiatives aim to support early childhood professionals who provide a nurturing environment that allows children to develop the skills young minds need to become prominent leaders of tomorrow.
Early Learning Shelby County works on behalf of our community’s youngest learners in the following ways:
Enhance the skills of early childhood educators for a more professional workforce and better outcomes for early learners.
Provide education for families & providers, especially around choosing quality early care and education programming in order to engage and empower families to help their children succeed.
Communicate the importance of brain architecture of children, ages 0-5; choosing high-quality early care and education programs; and family engagement.
Improve the well-being of young children birth to 5 by identifying, assessing, and connecting services that connect the whole child.
